Swimmer Michael Phelps was questioned by police after being involved in a car accident last night.
The Olympic gold medallist, 24, was in his hometown of Baltimore when his Cadillac Escalade collided with a grey Honda Accord.
Michael and his two passengers escaped uninjured while the other female driver was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi confirmed the athlete was interviewed by police, and said alcohol wasn't a factor.
