Anna Friel: Simon Cowell offered me a record deal

Actress turned down The X Factor judge

Anna Friel lives in LA with actor David Thewlis and their daughter Daisy

Simon Cowell wanted to sign Anna Friel to his record label when she was a teen.

But the former Brookside star is happy she stuck with acting.

‘Simon offered me a record deal twice,’ Anna, 32, tells the Daily Star.

‘I was about 19. I wouldn’t be here now if I’d said yes.’

Anna’s new film Land Of The Lost is out now.
