Sienna Miller looks for box office cred

Actress has made a number of flop films

Sienna Miller stars in G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra

Sienna Miller hasn't been short of publicity thanks to a high-profile romance with Balthazar Getty and her trend-setting style. But this summer she hopes fans will get to know her for another reason – G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra.

'It's really exciting to be in a film that people actually want to go and see! I was having to pay people to see my movies!' the actress tells Nylon magazine in its August issue. 'If you want to make amazing, artistic films, you've got to have some sort of box office credibility, which I don't have.'

Yet, Miller remains a favorite among paparazzi. While filming the 1960s period piece Hippie Hippie Shake, a film out later this year, the actress had to strip down for a skinny-dipping scene and a photographer snapped a shot of her nude.

'Me, full-frontal naked. I don't want to be naked on the cover of a Sunday newspaper! I don't!' she said. 'I don't want people analyzing the shape of my muff!'

Scrutinized or not, Miller still says she wants to make a difference in the world – with or without the cameras. She recently traveled to Africa to help out in the war-ravaged Congo region.

'I basically realized that I was so resentful for so long about the state of my celebrity,' she told the magazine, 'but I wanted to turn it around and do something good.'
