Actress is determined to help country's refugees

Angelina Jolie last went to Iraq in February 2008

Angelina Jolie flew out to Iraq on Thursday to visit people displaced by violence.

The actress, who is an ambassador for UN Refugee Agency, spent time with four families who had been left homeless by the war.

Wearing a bullet-proof vest, Ange, 34, also cradled a newborn baby who was covered in a rash, reports Us Weekly.

Angelina left partner Brad Pitt, 45, at home with their six kids.

He missed the premiere of Inglourious Basterds in London last night.
