Jennifer Aniston's ageing fears

Doctors warn the actress to stay out of the sun as she panics about growing old

Jennifer Aniston has started cutting back on her beach breaks

Jennifer Aniston’s years as a ‘relentless sun worshipper’ have left her paranoid about her ageing beyond her years.

Now can reveal that after a secret health scare several years ago, Jennifer's petrified that she faces being subjected to long hours in the sun on the set of her new movie The Bounty.

In the past, doctors have warned her about damaging her complexion by spending too much time in the sun and suggested that she’s at risk of premature ageing.

A source close to the production of her latest film, which is about a bounty hunter who discovers that his next target is his wife and is mainly set outdoors, says Jen’s feeling stressed at the high number of days shooting in the open air in New York and New Jersey.

The 40-year-old star’s so concerned that she’s taken drastic action by asking the film’s directors to do more indoor shooting because she feels she’s risking her looks.

Jen still wants to make a great, funny film, but she’s having a bit of trouble understanding why so many scenes have to be filmed at high noon with the sun beating down on her,’ says our source. ‘She sees it as a health hazard and is trying to work with the filmmakers to try to cut down the number of days that they need to do that.’

For years now, Jen’s been living in fear that her days as a ‘relentless sun worshipper’ – as she’s nicknamed by friends – will come back to haunt her. She’s stopped spending days lounging by her pool, which she always loved to do, and has cut back on taking her usual holidays in the sunshine.

It’s now been seven months since she last went to her favourite sun-drenched destination, Cabo San Lucas in Mexico. And when she did have a month’s break after filming The Baster in New York, she stayed holed up in her Los Angeles mansion and only left the house for the occasional night out.

Although Jennifer doesn’t want to be seen as a drama queen – especially because she loves the film’s script and working with her sexy co-star Gerard Butler – she really feels that her worries are valid.
