Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo have broken up after three years together.

‘They have amicably split but remain good friends who still greatly care for one another,’ a publicist for Vanessa, 28, tells People.

Nick, 35, divorced singer Jessica Simpson, 28, in June 2006.
