Actress pays tribute to her worn out bone

Jane Fonda is now recovering

Jane Fonda has got a new left knee.

The actress had surgery on Tuesday because bone was rubbing on bone.

'It's been a strong, faithful knee,’ Jane, 71, writes on her blog.

‘It's gotten me up a lot of steep mountains and across rugged terrain.

‘No more short skirts. But then, I never wore them much anyway.'

Jane had a hip replacement op in 2005.
