Spencer Pratt’s sister opens up about eating disorder

Stephanie Pratt had low self-esteem

Stephanie Pratt admits she developed bulimia after joining The Hills.

The 23-year-old signed up for the hit reality show in 2007.

And she began feeling self-conscious about her body after seeing herself on screen.

‘I was horrified,’ says Stephanie. ‘I remember saying, “I can't believe how huge I look walking over to Lauren [Conrad],” even though I was a size 0 or 2.

‘It was what made me start making myself throw up. It's such a gross and dirty thing. I hated it. Every time I did it I would start crying.’

Stephanie, who is the younger sister of Spencer Pratt, has now conquered her eating disorder.

‘I just thought, I'm this girl who has the chance to be on this TV show and I'm putting my head in the toilet,’ she tells Us Weekly.
