Singer will never randomly make out with someone

Katy Perry has been spotted with her ex Travis McCoy

Looking to score a smooch from Katy Perry? You'll have to date her first.

"I never hook up," Perry, 24, tells Seventeen for its July issue. "If I really like a person, then I'll go on a date. But you'll never catch me just randomly making out with someone."

"I'm not casual at all," the singer adds. "I've always been into making a connection with someone. That's what it's all about for me. Besides, it's sexier to be mysterious and not give it away."

Perry, who's recently been spotted out with her ex, Travis McCoy, says that each of her boyfriends have special meaning for her.

"I fall in love every time," she says. "I don't really fall in love a lot, but when I do, I fall hard. I've had about four boyfriends, and I fell in love with all of them – each of them served a purpose."
