Check up a precautionary measure because what seems like a 'minor bump' can be fatal

Angelina Jolie bumped her head but was soon back on set

Angelina Jolie was taken to hospital in New York on Friday after 'a minor bump to the head'.

The 33-year-old was is in the Big Apple shooting new movie Salt.

Angelina, who stars in the film as a CIA officer, was examined as a 'precautionary measure', Columbia Pictures spokesman Steve Elzer tells the BBC.

Actress Natasha Richardson died last month after falling and banging her head on a beginners' ski slope in Canada.
