Bollywood actress saddened Big Brother star's passing

Shilpa Shetty got to know Jade Goody when they both appeared on Celebrity Big Brother

Shilpa Shetty has written about Jade Goody on her blog.

The pair fought on Celebrity Big Brother in 2007, but they patched things up and became friends.

‘Jade won many a heart with her courage and how she dealt with her battle,’ Shilpa, 33, writes. ‘My heart sank on hearing the news.’

Shilpa was hoping to say her goodbyes to Jade last week, but the star was too ill for the reunion.

Jade, 27, donated £100,000 to Indian charities in the wake of the Celebrity Big Brother row.
