Alex Rodriguez: I have a lot of respect for Madonna

Baseball star opens up about friendship with singer

Alex Rodriguez plays baseball

Alex Rodriguez often calls Madonna in times of need.

The singer was linked to the New York Yankees baseball star last year.

But Alex, 33, insists he's just friends with Madonna, 50.

‘She’s an amazing entertainer,’ he tells Details.

‘And it’s been amazing how she’s been able to stay on top for three decades.

‘I have a lot of respect for her. If there ever was any situation, she’s a great ear to have.’

Madonna is now dating Brazilian model Jesus Luz, 22.
