John Mayer has posted a blog on a social networking site following his split from Jennifer Aniston.

The couple, who had dated on/off since last year, are thought to have broken up shortly after the Oscars.

And John, 31, has used Twitter to air his feelings.

‘This heart doesn’t come with instructions,’ he writes.

In August, John told paparazzi he had dumped Jen, 40, because the chemistry wasn’t right.
