Amy Winehouse's estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil is a free man

Amy Winehouse's estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil has been released from jail.

He hugged his mum Georgette as he left Edmunds Hill Prison in Suffolk at 10am yesterday.

Blake, who was caged for 27 months in July for GBH and attempting to pervert the course of justice, will enter a drugs rehab programme.

Amy, 25, is expected to return to the UK next week from St Lucia, where she's been staying since December.

Blake, 26, confirmed he still intends to divorce the Back To Black singer.

‘It’s all going ahead but I don’t really know what will happen,’ he told journalists as he left the facility.

‘It’s just nice to be on the outside again. Now I am going to get over my drug habit.’

Amy’s rep confirmed she wasn’t aware Blake, who filed for divorce last month, was being released.
