Will Mellor injures knee while filming stunt for TV show

Actor lands badly on set of Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps

Will Mellor was taken to hospital after botching a TV stunt.

The actor was shooting a chase scene for Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps in which his character Gaz had to slide over a car bonnet.

‘I landed badly and my knee just gave way,’ Will, 32, tells The Sun. ‘I hit the floor like a sack of potatoes.

'I did the scene in one take though, so the director was happy! But maybe I should get a stuntman in the future.’

Will, who damaged his cruciate ligament, is now on crutches and may need surgery.
