Mitch Winehouse returns to St Lucia following daughter Amy’s collapse

Cabbie wants to keep close eye on singer

Amy Winehouse’s dad Mitch has flown to St Lucia following his daughter's collapse last week.

The singer was rushed to hospital after her drug-replacement medication ran out on Friday.

Mitch is now staying with Amy, 25, on the Caribbean island to make sure there aren’t anymore problems.

‘He heard things weren’t quite as rosy as during his last visit and thought he should return,’ a source tells The Sun. ‘She needs an eye on her in case she hits the hard stuff.’

Cabbie Mitch made a brief trip to the holiday resort last month to break the news to his daughter that her husband Blake Fielder-Civil, 26, had filed for divorce.
