Singer spotted with wearing ring on shopping trip

Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams have been dating on and off since last year

Mandy Moore is to wed US rocker Ryan Adams, her rep has confirmed.

The singer, 24, was snapped wearing an engagement ring while out shopping in LA yesterday.

She began dating Ryan, 34, in March 2008 but they briefly split four months later, blaming media intrusion.

‘Mandy is one of those genuinely sweet angelic people you wish to meet your whole life,’ Ryan said at the time. ‘Unfortunately I am allergic to paparazzi.’

Mandy has been linked to tennis player Andy Roddick, 26, and Scrubs actor Zach Braff, 33, in the past.

Ryan’s rep hasn't commented on the engagement.
