Victoria Beckham feeling 'more lost than ever'

As David looks set to join AC Milan, Posh is leaving her friends - and her US dreams

Victoria Beckham has fought hard to gain her army of A-list friends and get brand Beckham firmly etched into the American psyche, but Posh fears that all her good work’s been in vain now that she and her family look set to move to Milan.

Despite the success of her fashion range in the Italian city and her efforts to fit in, David, 33, is determined to leave the US for good and play for AC Milan. That’s left the mum-of-three feeling ‘nervous’ about what the move means for her career.

‘Posh feels more lost than ever,’ says an insider. ‘She’s convinced that leaving will spell the end of the Beckhams as a relevant brand in America as she knows it can be a case of out of sight out of mind in Hollywood.

‘But Milan’s David's chance to shine again – he feels she owes him that happiness.’

Apart from her career crisis, Victoria, 34, is anxious about how she’ll be judged back in Europe and annoyed at having to uproot the couple’s three young sons  – Brooklyn, 9, Romeo, 6, and 3-year-old Cruz – again.

‘Apart from being angry that the boys will be forced to go to another school and have to part from the friends they’ve made in LA, Posh has never been a big fan of Europe,’ reveals our insider.

‘She feels cruelly judged there as Europeans tend to be more snobbish. In the US, if you worked your way up from nothing, good for you – whereas in Europe, you’re looked down on as “new money”. It makes her feel insecure.’
