The girls are back for more Sex and the City!

The long awaited sequal is going to happen

Sex And The City girls hit Leicester Square

Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis will work together again

Take out the Manolos! There will be a sequel to the huge box office hit Sex and the City: The Movie, with Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and the film's writer-director Michael Patrick King all on board, PEOPLE has confirmed.

"I'm very excited to work with these amazing actresses again," King says, "and would love to give everyone more information about the sequel… but I'm busy with my Sex life."

During press appearances in London three months ago, Cattrall told reporters she was certain a sequel would happen. "The fans keep saying, 'Yes, one more,'" Cattrall said. "The movie was so much fun to do and be part of again. I hope we're going to do it again."

The second movie will be shooting this summer and due in theatres summer 2010, reports E! Online's Marc Malkin.
