Rep for show says actress is not leaving

Ashley Jensen was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in Extras

Ashley Jensen has denied rumours she's to quit her role in hit US show Ugly Betty.

The Scottish actress plays wardrobe girl Christina McKinney in the popular series.

Ashley, 39, who found fame in Ricky Gervais’ Extras, was said to have told bosses she wanted to ‘try something new.’

But an Ugly Betty rep told Access Hollywood the reports were 'not true'. 

The show, currently in its third season, has recently been criticised over farfetched storylines.
