Tom Cruise tipped to appear on Jonathan Ross's comeback show

Stephen Fry and Lee Evans already confirmed

Tom Cruise is married to Dawson's Creek actress Katie Holmes

Jonathan Ross may interview Tom Cruise when the presenter makes his TV comeback.

The 48-year-old was suspended by the BBC for 12 weeks after the Andrew Sachs scandal.

But it is hoped Tom will appear on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross when it returns on 23 January.

Stephen Fry and comedian Lee Evans have already been confirmed, as well as Franz Ferdinand.

Tom Cruise will be in the UK towards the end of the month promoting new film Valkyrie.
