Kanye West’s mum's surgeon jailed for drink driving

Dr Jan Adams is sentenced to 12 months

Kanye West's mum Donda moved to LA when he hit the big time

The surgeon who operated on Kanye West’s mum before she died has been sent to prison.

Dr Jan Adams was seen driving in the wrong direction on a motorway and pulled over by police in June 2008.

A breath test revealed he had more than twice the legal limit of alcohol in his blood.

Donda died in November 2007 at the age of 58 from heart disease and complications from a breast reduction, tummy tuck and liposuction procedure.
