SHOCK! Columbo star Peter Falk has Alzheimer’s disease

Daughter Catherine says actor is unable to look after himself

Peter Falk's onscreen character Columbo pretended to be forgetful

Columbo star Peter Falk is suffering from dementia.

Daughter Catherine has filed court papers requesting protection for the actor and his estate.

She claims Peter needs ‘full-time custodial care’ because his Alzheimer’s Disease is so bad that he could fall victim to potential fraudsters. 

A hearing next month will decide who will be put in charge of Peter's wellbeing.

The 81-year-old has been married to actress Shera Danese since 1977.

Peter adopted daughters Catherine and Jackie while married to first wife Alyce Mayo.
