Production assistant hit by car in LA

Actor Macaulay Culkin rose to fame in 1990 film Home Alone

Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin's older sister Dakota has been killed.

The 29-year-old was rushed to the UCLA Medical Center on Tuesday after being hit by a car in LA.

But the art production assistant died from head injuries.

‘We can officially confirm that the victim is Dakota Culkin,’ the actor's rep tells Us Weekly.

‘This is a terrible tragic accident. We have no further comment at this time.’

Dakota recently worked on 2009 thriller Lost Soul.

The Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating. No arrests have been made.
