Amanda Redman: I want another baby

But partner Damian Schnabel isn’t so keen

Amanda Redman is still broody

Amanda Redman is longing to have another child – despite being 49.

The actress is already mum to Emily, 21, with ex-husband Robert Glenister, 48.

But Amanda, who has had two ectopic pregnancies, would love to give her a sibling.

‘I haven’t had my menopause yet,’ she explains. 'I did some tests and I am still fertile, but I think it is unlikely.'

But she admits partner Damian Schnabel, 37, isn’t keen on having kids.

‘He adores Emily and has helped bring her up,’ she tells the Mail On Sunday.

‘But we had some friends over for lunch the other day and they have adopted a two-year-old girl. She was running everywhere and they were running after her.

'Damian turned to me and said he felt exhausted watching them and that he couldn’t do that now.’
