David Van Day was the ninth contestant to be evicted from I'm A Celebrity

David Van Day has been booted off I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

The former Dollar star, 52, was met by daughters Amber and Olivia as he left the jungle.

‘Of course I’m disappointed,’ David said after his exit. ‘It’s been a real rollercoaster for me. I’ve gone hoarse I chatted so much.'

David, who irritated fellow campers admits he found it easy to feud with WAG Nicola McLean.

‘I wound her up to show people what she was like,’ he revealed. ‘She made it easy for me and helped me stay in so long.’

Only Joe Swash, Martina Navratilova and George Takei remain in the Aussie bush.

The final of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! airs tonight on ITV.
