Singer lifts the lid on younger sister's pregnancy

Singer Ashlee Simpson is expected to give birth any day now

Ashlee Simpson is eager to give birth to her first baby with husband Pete Wentz.

The singer was described as 'due any moment' by the rocker more than two weeks ago.

And her older sister Jessica, 28, says doctors may have to induce labour.

‘They’re going to have to,’ Jessica tells People. 'It’s already developing really quick.'

She says Ashlee is doing her best to encourage the baby to come out. 

'[She's tried] different foot massages and stuff. I don’t know.

'I think she’s really just jumping around and trying everything right now.’

Ashlee, 24, and Pete tied the knot in a quiet ceremony in May.
