Jennifer Aniston: I care deeply for John Mayer

Actress finally speaks out about their relationship

Jennifer Aniston has revealed that her romance with John Mayer is back on track.

The couple rekindled their relationship last month after the singer dumped her in August.

But Jen reckons they needed time apart to work out what they wanted.

‘You hit a place in a relationship and you both realise [that] we maybe need to do something else, but you still really, really love each other,’ she says.

‘It's painful. There was no malicious intent. I deeply, deeply care about him; we talk, we adore one another. And that's where it is.’

She Jennifer says she's forgiven John for talking to reporters about the split.

‘He had to put that out there that he broke up with me,’ she tells Vogue.

‘And especially because it's me. It's not just some girl he’s dating. I get it. We're human. But I feel seriously protective of him and us.’

John, 31, previously dated Cameron Diaz, 36.
