Dannii Minogue: I'll be back on The X Factor next year

Singer says she is not getting the axe

Dannii Minogue won The X Factor last year with her act Leon Jackson

Dannii Minogue has rubbished reports she’s quitting The X Factor.

And she says Simon Cowell has already offered her a new contract.

‘There have been lots of media reports that I’m not returning,’ she tells The Sun.

'But I’m being told by the producers and by Simon that I am coming back next year and I would love to.'

It was claimed Dannii, 37, was leaving because of rumoured tensions between her and the show's other panellists. 

‘I don’t socialise with the other judges outside of the show,' she says.

'The show is a big media thing from start to finish. As a judge you get caught in the middle of this kind of reality TV.’

Meanwhile, Dannii insists she hasn’t fallen out with her act Rachel Hylton, 26.

‘I'm hating the fact that she's being portrayed as a diva because that's not the case,’ she tells the Daily Record.

'I don't think people really know her or understand her.'
