Sarah Harding will appear in TV film Freefall on the BBC.
The Girls Aloud star plays the girlfriend of a city financier as he deals with the economic downturn.
Sarah, 26, who has taken acting lessons, is looking forward to working with director Dominic Savage.
‘His films are all about improvisation, which is pretty challenging, but that’s also a big reason why I want to do the project,’ she tells The Sun.
‘It’s so different to what I’m used to. It’s a bit nerve-wracking too not having all my girls with me.
'They’re really supportive though, and can’t wait to see the end result.’
Sarah starred in the St Trinian’s remake last year with her bandmates.
