Taylor Swift says she's not having a baby

The latest gossip about Taylor Swift is all wrong, the singer says in a new blog post.

"I read a very creative rumor this morning saying I'm pregnant," the country star, 18, writes on her Celebrity MySpace page, "which is the most impossible thing on the planet."

"Take my word for it," she adds. "Impossible."

In addition to knocking down hearsay, Swift, who has been promoting her new album Fearless due Nov. 11, is also gearing up for several award shows.

She is expected to perform at the 42nd Annual CMA Awards and the 2008 American Music Awards, both airing this month on ABC.

"Today is the last day for AMA Awards voting," she tells fans on her blog. "It would be so amazing if you'd go vote (for me, maybe pleasssseee) … and show me some love in the Favorite Female Country Artist category."
