Singer expecting second child with husband Richard Jones

Sophie Ellis-Bextor sang lyrics on the Spiller hit Groovejet

Sophie Ellis-Bextor has confirmed she is having another baby.

The singer and her husband Richard Jones, bassist for The Feeling, already have a son, Sonny, 4.

The couple, who wed in June 2005, are excited about the new addition to their family.

‘I'll be having a break around March/April as I am very happy to share with you all the news that I am having another baby.

'I am due at the beginning of April and naturally the Ellis-Bextor-Joneses are thrilled that Sonny will soon have a little brother or sister,’ she writes on her website.

Sophie, 29, is the daughter of former Blue Peter presenter Janet Ellis.
