
Robbie Williams is determined to regain his heartthrob image and put an end to ‘fat’ jibes by shedding 2½st.
Now can reveal that Robbie, 34, who was snapped looking trimmer in Beverly Hills on 24 October, has lost half a stone thanks to a new diet and exercise regime.
‘Robbie’s like a new man and is no longer hiding away in his LA home,’ says a pal.
US actress Ayda Field, 29, dumping the former Take That star briefly last month gave him a shake-up.
‘Ayda gave him an ultimatum to get his ass in gear or she was gone. That’s when he decided to pull himself out of his slump,’ reveals our source.
‘She'd enough of his alien obsession and constant “pity parties”. Adya loves him and wasn’t bothered about the weight, but he was and his moping around affected their relationship.’
Robbie’s sticking to a 2,500- calories-a-day diet and has a daily 2-hour workout.
‘Everything he eats is fat-free,’ says our source. ‘He’s ordered his chefs to prepare low-fat snacks. He’s drinking chocolate-flavoured protein shakes to convert fat into muscle and has ditched breakfast fry-ups.
