Chat show host shocked by actor's height

Paul O’Grady used to dress up as drag act Lily Savage

Paul O’Grady says he was taken aback when he first met Tom Cruise.

The chat show host was astounded by the 46-year-old actor's 5ft 6in frame.

‘He was minute,’ he says. ‘Honestly, he looked like a Borrower.

'I wanted to say, “Come on, where’s the real Tom? Why have they sent along a mini-me?”’

Paul, 53, says there are some guests he wouldn't invite onto his sofa, including Heather Mills, 40.  

‘What’s the point of her sitting there ranting for 5 minutes?’ he tells Glamour. ‘I’d start self-mutilating under the desk.’
