Laurence Fox: Billie Piper is doing really well

Actress thrilled to be a mum

Laurence Fox is Billie Piper's second husband. She was previously married to DJ Chris Evans

Billie Piper is said to be making a good recovery following the birth of her son Winston James Fox.

The actress, 26, was kept in hospital for observation after she had an emergency Caesarean last Tuesday.

But husband Laurence Fox says she and the baby are just fine.

‘Billie is doing really well,’ he tells Hello!. ‘She’s strong, healthy and brilliant. And she's happy – she's a mum.’

Laurence, 29, is equally enamoured with his son.

‘He's beautiful,’ he says of the newborn. ‘He's sweet.’

The couple married in a romantic New Year's Eve ceremony last year.
