Cheryl Cole left devastated by brother's arrest

Andrew Tweedy appears in court

Cheryl Cole has written about her older brother's troubles

Cheryl Cole's brother has been arrested for allegedly trying to break into a car.

Andrew Tweedy, 28, faced magistrates on Friday in Heaton, Newcastle.

The case was adjourned and he was granted bail after entering no plea, reports the Sunday People.

Cheryl, 25 – who has written about Andrew’s drug use - is said to be heartbroken.

He is due back in court on Friday.
