Victoria Beckham's fears over David's LA admirers

As they spend more time apart, Posh's insecurities grow

David Beckham moved his family to California to play soccer with LA Galaxy

When Victoria Beckham landed in the UK for a photo shoot last Sunday, she hadn't seen husband David for a week.

‘It was somewhat of a brief reunion,’ reveals our source. ‘The day after, David was off on a plane again and headed for an England World Cup qualifying match in Belarus.'

As the Beckhams’ popularity rises Stateside, so does their workload. Posh has been busy promoting her dVb fashion line and her new Signature For Him and Her fragrances.  

David, who was once inclined to spend quiet nights at their LA home, has taken to frequenting a top nightclub without his wife.

‘He’s been going to a celebrity haunt called Villa regularly – not only when Posh is in the UK, but on his own when she’s been in LA,’ says our source. ‘This hasn’t gone down well with Posh, who’d prefer it if any time they’re apart was spent focused on work commitments.’

According to our source, David often shows up after 11pm and heads to the VIP area, which is usually teeming with celebs such as Cameron Diaz and Christina Aguilera, not to mention his enthusiastic female fans.

‘These girls get into the VIP areas and just swarm around David,’ adds our source. ‘They either flock to him or desperately try to get his attention from a distance. He’s used to all the fuss, but for Posh it’s far from a comfortable situation. She’s spoken to him about it and he always tells her he needs time to bond with his LA Galaxy teammates, but that doesn’t put her at ease.’

However, romantic David does try to make it up to her. He sends her loving texts throughout
the day and whenever they meet up he often has flowers waiting for her. Our source adds:

‘Despite her frustration about the time apart and the whole clubbing thing, she can’t help but melt
a little bit when he makes an effort.’
