Singer given all-clear from doctors to perform
Thursday, 16 October 2008
Janet Jackson resumed her North American tour last night, following her brief hospitalisation.
In her first US tour in 7 years, the singer had to cancel a string of shows across the continent after being diagnosed with a rare form of migraine that caused vertigo.
But Janet was deemed well enough to perform in Washington DC yesterday.
‘It feels so good to be back after being down just a little bit,’ she told the crowd at the Verizon Center.
Janet, 42, is planning to reschedule cancelled dates in Montreal, Boston, Philadelphia, Greensboro, North Carolina and Connecticut.
