Emma Davies has been written out of ITV1 soap Emmerdale.
The 38-year-old actress, who plays Anna De Souza, will leave in a spectacular Christmas storyline.
‘The opportunity of playing Anna has been a joy from start to finish,’ Emma says. ‘I've enjoyed being part of such a fantastic, hard-working and talented team.’
Emma’s exit will coincide with that of her on-screen lover Matthew King (Matt Healy) and father Donald de Souza (Michael Jayston).
