Sean Stewart is appearing in reality TV show Celebrity Rehab

Rod Stewart's son is allegedly seeking treatment for substance abuse.

Sean Stewart checked into Malibu’s Canyon At Peace Park rehab clinic over the weekend.

It comes just days after the 28-year-old was snapped with scratches all over his face.

'He was put on an immediate detox and is being treated for recovery of substance abuse and other issues,' a source tells The Sun.

Ironically Sean, who has battled drink and drugs in the past, will feature in reality show Celebrity Rehab later this month, which he filmed in a California clinic in June.

Rod's spokeswoman refused to comment.
