Angelina Jolie: I thought about quitting acting

But partner Brad Pitt wants her to work

Angelina Jolie now intends to resume her film career

Angelina Jolie has vowed to return to work after giving birth to Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline.

The mum-of-six, who had twins with partner Brad Pitt on 12 July, did think about ditching her career.

‘We had a big discussion about whether I should go back to work at all,’ she says.

'But Brad said it was a part of me as well and it would be all right, so we’re trying to balance it all.'

Angelina's projects will have to fit in round her family.

‘My life is being with my family and my family is so real and so close and so happy I wake up everyday and want to make sure everybody’s healthy,' she tells the Daily Mirror.

'My kids bring me so much joy and peace. I really don’t care about anything else.’

Angelina, 33, and Brad, 44, are also parents to daughter Shiloh, 2, and adopted children Maddox, 7, Pax, 4, and Zahara, 3.
