Paris Hilton: I really believe God saved DJ AM

Socialite is amazed he survived accident

DJ AM went out with Paris Hilton's SImple Life co-star Nicole Richie for two years

Paris Hilton has been in contact with DJ AM following his near-death plane crash.

The musician was travelling home from Columbia with Paris' ex Travis Barker when their jet burst into flames on the runway, killing four people.

Paris says she got in touch with DJ AM – real named Adam Goldstein – to see how he was doing.

‘We didn't talk about the [crash],’ she said on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show.

‘I just said, “I wish you the best." With all the love and support coming in, it really means a lot.

'He's such a good person. I feel like God really did save him.’

Paris, 27, was on a plane herself when she first heard that Adam, 35, and Travis, 32, had been rushed to hospital.

‘I was just landing in from Milan,’ she added. ‘I was sitting with my manager, and he showed me the phone. I couldn't believe it. It's so scary.’

She is currently dating Benji Madden, 29.
