Actor must have long locks to play Robin Hood

Russell Crowe doesn't like the mane he's had to grow for his latest flick.

The actor, 44, will play Robin Hood in Ridley Scott's Nottingham.

And he's not happy about the length of his barnet.

'It's like walking around with a dead Koala on your back,' he tells Extra.

Sienna Miller, 26, is also lined-up to star as Maid Marion in the movie.
