Kevin Costner is angry that he’s perceived as having 'fallen from grace' in Hollywood just because some of his films have flopped.
The actor - who starred in Oscar-winner Dances With Wolves - sticks up for movies such as Wyatt Earp and Waterworld, which didn't enjoy the same kind of box office success.
Kevin thinks Hollywood has a twisted attitude to fame.
‘You can be popular now, in this world, for getting cum on your dress,’ he says.
‘Fame is not a cultural achievement. It’s just a sign of our times. And if you’re not famous, are you a failure?’
Kevin, 53, also accuses Tinseltown of being fickle and cruel.
‘I think there’s a whole world that wants to laugh at someone who’s been successful, and had perceived failure,’ he tells The Sunday Times Magazine.
‘I have different criteria on what constitutes a success.’
