Guy Ritchie had a special menu created for his birthday bash – and it only featured pies.
The director celebrated his 40th birthday at his pub, The Punchbowl, in Mayfair on Wednesday with wife Madonna.
And The Portobello Pie Company created some traditional grub for him.
‘There wasn’t an empty plate, or glass, left at the end of the night,' a source tells The Sun.
'The pies were smoked haddock and egg or chicken, leek and tarragon. They went down a treat. Guy loved them.
'He was presented with one, with a sign stuck in it, by his pals before the serious boozing started.’
Madonna, 50, arranged for the pub to be filled with candles and had two violinists serenade him with a rendition of Happy Birthday.
