Singer moves on from Jennifer Aniston

John Mayer dated Jessica Simpson last year

John Mayer has put his relationship with Jennifer Aniston behind him and is said to be dating an old flame.

Earlier this year the singer enjoyed a short-lived fling with waitress Maria Marin, before he got together with Friends actress Jen, 39.

But John, 30, was spotted partying with Maria in Miami last week.

‘She [Maria] totally doted on him and didn't leave his side,’ a source tells America's Life & Style magazine.

John said he split up with Jennifer, 39, because he wanted to be alone.
