Craig Revel Horwood: I got married to avoid being gay

Strictly Come Dancing judge says it was stupid

Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood got married when he was 25

Craig Revel Horwood got hitched to suppress his homosexuality.

But the Strictly Come Dancing judge got divorced four years later.

‘I did not want to be gay,’ he says. ‘So I actually got married.

‘I’d had girlfriends, so I was sort of bisexual. Then, at 25, I married this Welsh girl called Jane Hallwood.

‘I was young and stupid.’

Australian-born Craig, 41, is now in a relationship with a man. 

'I'm really happy with my life,' he tells The Daily Mail.

Strictly Come Dancing returns for a sixth series next month.
