Anne Hathaway: I don't date leading men

Actress avoids mixing business with pleasure

Anne Hathaway's first major role was in Disney movie The Princess Diaries

Anne Hathaway says she tries not to fall for her co-stars because she prefers to focus on the job.

The Get Smart star has worked opposite leading men including James McAvoy, Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal.

‘I try not to date where I work,’ she says. ‘It makes life easier. Besides, the possibility has never really arisen.’

But she says she'd never rule it out altogether.

‘I don’t say no to anybody, because I’d hope that people wouldn’t say no to me just because I’m an actor,’ she tells The Independent.

‘But they’d have to be pretty extraordinary.’

Anne, 25, recently spilt from Italian businessman Rafaello Follieri, 30, shortly before he was arrested for fraud.
