Lily Allen says changes at her record company have delayed the release of her second album.
The singer insists she finished the follow-up to Alright, Still some time ago.
‘[The album] has been finished for a while now,’ she writes on her MySpace blog. ‘I don't really know what's going on with it.
‘The record industry is a very political place at the moment and I am on EMI Records.
'Lots of people have been fired or have taken redundancy recently as the company was taken over by a private equity firm called Terra Firma.
'Many of these people were people assigned to my projects.’
Lily, 23, has tentatively called the album Stuck On The Naughty Step.
