Jessica Simpson, getting a jumpstart on her 28th birthday celebration (actual birthday: July 10) during a night at the Key Club in West Hollywood with beau Tony Romo and pal Vivica A. Fox.
At the club, Simpson got a treat when the NFL star belted out Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" as his old friends, Steel Panther (formerly known as Metal Skool) backed him up. (The band, who has regular gigs at the club, tossed the mic to Romo, who sang from the crowd.)
And while Romo may not be known for his pipes, he isn't shy about singing. "He sings that one all the time," the club's night manager, Mark "Skip" Buccola, told us.
And Romo and Simpson joined the same band onstage in January. Also in the audience: Matt Leinart, who hung in VIP with his friends.
Meanwhile, before their night out in L.A., Simpson and Romo spent their holiday weekend in Destin Beach, Fla., where they hung out on the beach at the WaterColor Inn & Resort.
